Victoria entered the Ministry by Floo, had gotten her visitor's badge, and then made her way to her husband's office. She smiled at the two guards who nodded her through the doors that lead to the hallway where Michael worked. Today she was looking particularly stunning in elegant deep purple robes, silver jewelry at her wrists and throat. She wore her engagement ring and wedding band as always. Victoria had gotten done at the Prophet early, and had decided to surprise her husband at work.

She hoped that he wasn't too busy, all she wanted was a few minutes' alone time with Michael. She figured it wasn't too much to ask for, and if it was she could always use a little bit of charm to get her own way. That technique, although she didn't use it often, rarely failed her. Victoria smoothed her hair before knocking on the highly polished door to her husband's office.

"Come in!" Michael called from his desk, hurriedly finishing what he was currently writing he case he got distracted by his next visitor. After a moment, he looked up to see who it was. When Michael saw that it was Victoria, he smiled and stood, walking around to the front of his desk. "Hello dear," Michael said, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "What brings you here?"

"I got done early at work, I figured I'd stop by," Victoria said, smiling. She found it hard to be anything but happy while around her husband, it was like nothing in the world would go wrong whilst they were together. "You aren't terribly busy, are you?" asked Victoria, she did not want to interrupt, although if she was she would figure some way around it.

Michael shrugged slightly, he was always busy these days it seemed. "No more busy than normal," he replied. He supposed that work could wait a few minutes if Victoria wanted to talk or something. Besides, Michael knew that he couldn't do anything that would really make a difference in stopping Isabelle anyway. At least not at the moment, while he was working in his office.

Taking that as a welcome gesture to her company, Victoria seated herself on her husband's desk at a spot void of papers and smiled at him. "What would you like for supper tonight?" asked Victoria, "the cook is ill. I will make whatever you want." Victoria smiled a bit and turned on her charm just a tiny bit, with the intent on helping her husband to relax a little, he seemed tense at the moment.

Michael thought for a moment, but was unable to come up with anything that he really wanted to eat for dinner. Generally he just ate what was put in front of him, as he didn't have too much time to think about whatever it was. "Whatever you would like is fine with me," Michael replied with a smile. It seemed that just being in his wife's company relaxed Michael; he was glad that she had shown up.

"All right, I'll make it a surprise for you, then," said Victoria, getting off of her husband's desk and instead draping her arms over his shoulders so they were close. She lightly kissed his lips and puleld away after only a second, smiling a bit. "You seem so tense all the time," Victoria said, putting on just a little bit more of her charm, "have you forgotten how to relax?"
